How It's Done
When someone scribbles absent-mindedly, the result is called a doodle. During one of my periods of utter boredom, I suddenly realised that the 1 inch square ballpoint pen creations could be worth further consideration.
The next step was to scan these onto the computer and enlarge them to a reasonable print size. The thing is, I liked the irregularities of each ink stroke. It kind of looked intentional - almost as if an experienced artist had drawn them with charcoal.
To finish, all that’s needed is to carefully select most of the enclosed areas and fill with colour.
